By Public Transportation:

From Zihuatanejo:
Take any bus that stops at Los Achotes (Approx. cost 10 pesos). Then take the passenger truck to El Refugio de Potosí. Cost 10 pesos.

Taxi:
Tell the driver we are located on the paved road between Los Achotes to Barra de Potosí. Approx cost: 250 pesos.

You are visiting a tropical forest.
Plan to spend 45 min. to 1 hour exploring El Refugio.
We recommend applying sunscreen and insect repellent.
Wear loose and light clothing.
